The International Film Festival Submission System

Prince Edward Island International Film Festival prefers paperless entries submitted via The International Film Festival Submission System (BrigitFest) – on the Web at Withoutabox.com.

Submit Online

Withoutabox provides cost-saving, online entry to major film festivals throughout the U.S. and in Europe with one master entry form, allowing you and us to enter your film more quickly and with greater accuracy. This method is free and easy.

Withoutabox users enjoy the advantages of Extended Deadlines and Online Press Kit submissions and filmmakers with an upgraded project on Withoutabox receive $5.00 off their Entry Fees.

Entry Procedure
If by mail and not through Withoutabox:

:: Create one festival application for each entry
:: Print the completed form
:: Before printing, you may want to proof or make changes
to your application.
:: Print out this completed entry form page - you'll be
sending this in as part of your application.
:: Send us the signed printout, a copy of your film, a still
photo and the fee, all in one package.
:: Please submit your film (screener) on a clearly labeled standard size (NTSC) or DVD (best choice) (No PAL).
:: Remember to sign your printed entry form
:: If paying by credit card, don't forget to enclose the
Credit Card Authorization PDF
:: Submissions are non-returnable unless accompanied
by a SASE

Deadlines & Entry Fees

The early deadline for all films is:
Monday, June 30th, 2008
The early deadline fee is $30.00

The regular deadline for all films is:
Monday, July 7th, 2008
The regular deadline fee is $35.00

The late deadline for all films is:
Monday, July 14th, 2008
The late deadline fee is $40.00

The extended deadline for Withoutabox members is:
Monday, July 28th, 2008
The extended deadline fee for WAB members is $55.00

Entry fees are payable by check, money order, or
credit card and are non-refundable.

All fees payable to: PEIIFF (there's two I's)

If paying by credit card, please complete our Credit Card Authorization PDF. The PEI/iff cannot accept bank transfers
or western union wires. Foreign entry fees should be drawn
on travelers checks in U.S. dollars, or international money
orders in U.S. dollars, or cash.

FILM SELECTION NOTICE
The PEI/iff films will be selected by the festival programmers. All film selections will be posted on our website approx a month or more before this festival to allow time for filmmakers to promote thier film's screening and to prepare travel arrangements to the island.

(Note* A Valid passport: US included is now required when arriving on the island)

If a film is accepted, entrants will be solely responsible for delivering their exhibition print/video materials to and from the festival venue. Complete press kits will be needed as soon after notification as possible. PEI/iff can not be held liable for your exhibiti on print/video materials which are lost or damaged.

**If your film wins a category, you are required to mention that fact in posters and other promotional material if and when the film gets distribution.

Seeing this is a festival that will operate at the same time as one of the largest Island cultural festivals taking place at the same time; we expect a large turnout.

Please note festival dates are subject to change. Unfortunately PEI/iff does not provide room, board or travel for filmmakers, but we will treat you like family.

Entrants warrant that they have the legal right to enter film work to The PEI/iff.

*Filmmakers who choose to join Withoutabox also get $5.00-$10.00 off their Entry Fees, plus the advantages of Extended Deadlines and Online Press Kit submissions.
